It is a Japanese braiding called "Kumihimo", Kumi meaning braid and himo meaning rope.
Historically, Kumihimo-style braided rope was used by samurai to attach their armor to their horses.

We chose 8-strand braiding to provide maximum texture and complexity. Thanks to this braiding, your bracelet benefits from greater elasticity as well as better resistance.
